The 2022 Bandicoot Run Shiraz is a vibrant, contemporary take on Heathcote fruit, sourced from the famed Cambrian soils of the region but crafted with a gentle, "Gippsland-inspired" touch. While many Heathcote reds lean toward heavy extraction, Bandicoot Run, led by the talented duo of Zeph and Shernee, prioritises freshness and aromatic lift.

The 2022 vintage displays a deep violet hue with a nose of bruised plums, blackberries, and the classic regional signature of crushed black pepper and dried herbs. On the palate, it is medium-to-full bodied but remarkably supple; the dark fruit is supported by fine-grained, savoury tannins and a bright mineral acidity that keeps the finish clean and energetic.
