Founded in 1885, Amaro Montenegro is crafted from a blend of 40 hand-selected botanicals inspired by the travels of herbalist Stanislao Cobianchi. Named in honour of Elena of Montenegro, it has earned a global reputation for its distinctive, timeless flavour.

Still made to its original, closely guarded recipe, Amaro Montenegro combines spices, dried fruits, roots, seeds, bark, citrus peel, and flowers sourced from around the world. These create six signature aromatic notes: bitter & herbaceous, spicy & floral, sweet & roasted, fresh & balsamic, fruity & vegetal, and warm & tropical.
